Former 5-Year Brazoria County Family Law Judge
The practice of family law differs from other areas of law in that clients are generally far more emotional when involved in a family dispute than in virtually any other area of practice. Their situations almost always dig deep into the heart of their personal lives, and they may be looking at the end of their family structure as they have known it. So there is naturally going to be a lot of strong feelings about the family relationship and any potential actions of family members.
The experienced legal staff at the Robertson Family Law Firm understands these often volatile issues, and the emotions that accompany them. They present a calm, professional and supportive demeanor as they help determine your immediate needs and whether our firm might be able to help you, while patiently explaining the process of becoming a client.

Our paralegals are the first point of contact for potential clients looking for legal representation in their family matter and are experienced with intake procedures and determining what a potential client really needs. They pass along an accurate assessment to Mr. Robertson, who ultimately decides whether to take on the new client based on the information provided by our staff, the client's circumstances and whether they are actually in need of representation.
In addition to being the initial point of contact with our firm, our legal assistants work closely with clients throughout their case and are relied upon by the Robertson firm for drafting necessary documents, scheduling appointments and court appearances, as well as keeping client case files organized.
They provide ongoing client liason and are always available to answer any questions you may have about your case. In short, our paralegal professionals are the organizational foundation of our firm.
